HRDC/HRDF Claimable Sales Training Program Malaysia

Sales results are decided in a few moments: how a call opens, how a price objection is handled, how an account grows and how a manager coaches after the deal. ClimbX Academy builds a sales training program around your team's real calls, deals and accounts, so sales reps practise the selling skills they use day to day. It is HRDC/HRDF sales training for teams, delivered in-house, and the course fees can be claimed under HRDC/HRDF.

Common sales problems we address

Calls that drift

The salesperson talks about the product or service, the buyer is polite, and the call ends with "we'll get back to you". Nobody agreed what the call was for.

Discounts at the first push

When a buyer pushes on price, many salespeople give a discount straight away or dig in. Either way, margin or the relationship pays for it.

Accounts that depend on one contact

The biggest clients are often managed through one person. When that person leaves, the account is at risk.

Coaching that is really inspection

Managers review the pipeline and chase numbers, so reps hear "work harder" and the same gaps return next quarter.

What the training covers

Planning and leading sales calls, with a clear purpose and an agreed next step

Asking potential customers questions that uncover real problems, so a call becomes problem solving rather than product talk

Negotiating when closing deals, without giving away margin or the relationship

Building trust with clients, and protecting it when the conversation turns to price

Mapping stakeholders and planning how to grow key accounts, so existing clients become a source of revenue growth

Coaching sales reps and team members on real calls and deals

Helping sales managers and sales leaders set standards, run a team rhythm and keep momentum

Building a shared team playbook from what already works, including what your top performers do

How we design the programme

Step 1

Start with your sales process

We start with the stages of your sales cycle, the buyers your team meets and the objections that come up most often.

Step 2

Use your own calls, deals and accounts

Exercises use your own calls, deals and accounts, so participants practise the conversations they will have the next day.

Step 3

Practise with role-play and group work

Sessions use role-play and group work rather than lectures, and can be delivered at your workplace or online.

Step 4

Follow up on real work

Training builds the skill. The habit forms when sales leaders follow up on real calls, deals and follow-ups afterwards, so the programme shows managers how to review and coach from them.

Who it is for

Sales reps

Plan calls, negotiate and follow up on the deals they work every day.

Account managers

Map stakeholders and grow the key accounts they look after.

Business development teams

Open conversations, ask better questions and win new clients.

Sales managers, sales leaders and team leaders

Coach reps on real calls and deals, set standards and keep the team moving.

Frequently asked questions

Is this sales training HRDC/HRDF claimable?

Yes. ClimbX Academy is an HRDC/HRDF registered training provider, and the training can be claimed under HRDC/HRDF. See how to claim HRDC/HRDF for a training course.

What does a sales training program for our team include?

It is built from the courses above, chosen to match your team. For example, sales reps might take call management and negotiation, while sales leaders take coaching and sales leadership. Each course can run on its own or be combined into one programme.

How long is in-house sales training?

There is no fixed length. We set the length and schedule around your team's goals, size and availability, then send you a custom quote.

How early do we need to apply for the HRDC/HRDF grant?

At least two weeks before the training date. Under the current rules, in-house training can begin only 14 days after the grant is approved, so plan the calendar early. The HRD Corp claimable courses page explains the scheme.

Can the training use our own deals and customers?

Yes. Exercises are built from your sales stages, your typical buyers and your most common objections, and participants work on their own deals and accounts.

Is there a public sales course for one or two people?

Our public AI for Sales course runs in Kuala Lumpur on 25 to 26 January 2027 and is HRDC/HRDF claimable. For other sales topics, we run in-house sessions for your team.
