AI for Presentations & English Writing: Communicate with Clarity and Confidence

Participants learn to use AI as an editor and drafting partner: structure the message first, draft clearly, polish tone and grammar, and turn the content into clean slides. They leave with sharper emails, reports and presentations, and the confidence to write and present in English while keeping their own voice.

Key Outcomes
Put the answer first and structure every message
e.g., an email that opens with the decision needed, then three supporting points
Use AI to draft, edit and adjust tone
e.g., turn a blunt email into a firm but polite reply to a client
Turn a report or notes into a clear slide deck
e.g., a 10-page report becomes 6 slides, one message each
Keep your own voice and check facts, names and figures before sending
e.g., reread AI edits so the message still sounds like you, and verify every number

Why teams need this

Your team knows the work, but their emails ramble, reports take hours to polish, and slides are packed with text nobody reads. Many hesitate to write in English at all, so important messages are delayed or softened until the point is lost. Senior leaders end up rewriting when they should be deciding.

Pyramid Principle structure
Participants use Barbara Minto's answer-first method, from her McKinsey consulting career, before AI touches a word. They start with the answer, group supporting ideas under it, and order them logically.
Evidence-based approach
An MIT study of 453 professionals (Noy and Zhang, published in Science, 2023) found ChatGPT cut writing time by about 40% and raised quality ratings by 18%. Lower-scoring writers gained the most.
Group challenge and role-play
Teams rewrite the same poor email, compare their AI-edited versions, then role-play a 3-minute pitch with AI-built slides. A panel of "executives" interrupts with "So what's the answer?"

Exercises use your team's real emails, reports and templates (with sensitive details removed). They can focus on client emails, management reports, proposals or internal updates, and can be adapted for bilingual teams who think in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin or Tamil and write in English.
