Frequently asked questions
Is this finance training HRDC/HRDF claimable?
Yes. ClimbX Academy is an HRDC/HRDF registered training provider, and the training can be claimed under HRDC/HRDF. See how to claim HRDC/HRDF for a training course.
What does a finance training program for our team include?
It is built from the courses above, chosen to match your team. For example, managers might take Financial Literacy for Non-Finance Professionals, while people who build models take Financial Modelling. Each course can run on its own or be combined into one programme.
How long is in-house finance training?
There is no fixed length. We set the length and schedule around your team’s goals, size and availability, then send you a custom quote.
How early do we need to apply for the HRDC/HRDF grant?
At least two weeks before the training date. Under the current rules, in-house training can begin only 14 days after the grant is approved, so plan the calendar early. The HRD Corp claimable courses page explains the scheme.
Do participants need a finance background?
No. Financial Literacy for Non-Finance Professionals is designed for people outside finance. Financial Modelling covers how to build structured, transparent models, and both can be tailored to your team.
Can the training use our own reports and models?
Yes. Exercises start from the reports your team reads, the budgets they own and the models they build.
